What is Art Therapy?
Art Therapy is a creative approach to counselling. Guidance and opportunity to explore and use art instead of, or in conjunction with words, can be a powerful way to tap into the unconscious, intuition and inner wisdom. Deep insights, clarity and healing are possible.
Participants may gain new tools for tackling the twists and turns of life. They may become more in touch with their creativity and inner wisdom, and increase their understanding of themselves. They may find healing and inner peace around issues that have been troubling them.
Anyone may benefit, including those experiencing grief and loss, other life changes, illness, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship issues, and those wanting to work with childhood wounds, their dreams or creativity. No art skills or experience are necessary.
